This treatment is provided by a registered physiotherapist who has obtained additional training in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. These include:
- birth preparation
- pre and post-natal rehab
- diastesis recti
- incontinence and bladder control
- pain in the pelvic girdle/low back/hip pain/symphysis pubis
- pelvic organ prolapse
- painful intercourse
- menopausal heath
- post-surgical rehabilitation
- post mastectomy care
- OR any other condition where you believe a pelvic exam might be warranted.

Pelvic Health treatments can include education, lifestyle and behavioural coaching, breathing retraining, nervous system retraining, pelvic exam and treatment and pelvic floor muscle retraining, connective tissue work, manual therapy, and IMS.

Ashley is a bilingual Registered Physical Therapist. She grew up in Ottawa, Ontario in an active family where she was exposed at a young age to the benefits of living a healthy and happy lifestyle. Having dance since the age of 3, and through continued dancing into adulthood, Ashley has developed a true appreciation and passion for movement.

Ashley completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University, in Kingston Ontario and has completed certification under the Orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, completed her certification in IMS/Dry needling, and specialized training in Pelvic Floor/Women’s Health Physiotherapy (PHS I), with plans to continue ongoing learning.

Ashley has gained experience working with patients of all ages, from recreational to semi-professional athletes, patients with neurological and pelvis health specific conditions, and more. With a passion for holistic care, she values taking a collaborative and active approach to rehabilitation in discovering and treating the root cause of a patients symptoms. Grounded with client-centered goals, Ashley uses education, hands-on techniques, personalized exercise programs, IMS, along with other evidence-based treatments.

Beyond her professional life, she loves finding new skills and challenges, spending time with friends and family, cooking and eating delicious food, and being by the water and in the mountains.
